Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform, enabling individuals to trade on real-world outcomes across politics, economics, sports, and current affairs. The platform aggregated $21B in trading volume in 2025 and is positioned as an alternative news source reflecting collective expectations about the future. You will own the end-to-end institutional onboarding process, from initial outreach through account activation and first trade. This role sits within Operations and reports directly to senior leadership, making you responsible for bringing market-makers, hedge funds, trading desks, and sophisticated financial players onto the platform. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable onboarding workflows that reduce time-to-live for new institutional accounts while maintaining compliance standards. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients, setting clear expectations and keeping deals moving. You'll coordinate closely with legal, compliance, and product teams to resolve blockers, negotiate documentation requirements, and ensure accounts meet all necessary standards. You'll build and maintain a pipeline of institutional prospects, reporting on status, conversion rates, and bottlenecks to leadership. You'll identify patterns in onboarding delays and implement fixes—whether updating internal processes, improving documentation, or escalating product gaps. You'll also work with operations and growth teams to define post-onboarding success metrics and ensure clean handoffs. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in financial services with meaningful time in client onboarding, institutional sales support, or operations at a bank, brokerage, exchange, or fintech. You need deep familiarity with KYC, KYB, and AML processes and a proven track record of owning client-facing processes end-to-end. You're comfortable working in ambiguity, building structure where little exists, and communicating clearly with sophisticated financial counterparties. Experience at a crypto exchange, prediction market, or alternative trading platform is a plus, as is familiarity with CFTC-regulated entities and derivatives/swaps documentation. Experience hiring and managing a small operations or onboarding team is also valued.
