Datadog is seeking a Director of Enterprise Customer Success to lead and scale the customer success organization for their largest and most strategic enterprise customers. This is a people-leadership role managing multiple teams of customer success managers and first-line managers. Key Responsibilities: - Hire, develop, and mentor multiple teams of customer success professionals, with a focus on coaching first-line managers and individual contributors - Facilitate onboarding and ramp-up for new team members, ensuring they reach productivity and success - Serve as an escalation point and guide for your team on complex customer projects and challenges - Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and other departments to align on customer strategies, develop training curricula, and meet hiring goals - Build and scale the Enterprise Customer Success department to meet both strategic and operational needs as the company grows - Partner strategically with Enterprise Sales leadership to ensure alignment and drive growth across existing and new customer accounts - Oversee contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and renewal/upsell strategies for enterprise accounts Datadog is a leading observability and security platform trusted by Fortune 500 companies and high-growth AI leaders. Requirements: - 3+ years of experience overseeing a Customer Success or Account Management team in the SaaS space - 7+ years of experience managing high-performing teams of Customer Success Managers - Proven track record negotiating contract terms and overcoming pricing objections for renewal and upsell opportunities - Familiarity with B2B tech or subscription-based software preferred - Experience in the observability, monitoring, or enterprise software space is a plus
