BioAge Labs is seeking a Director of Clinical Supply Chain to lead end-to-end clinical supply operations for investigational products supporting the company's clinical development programs. Reporting to the SVP of Technical Operations, this role owns strategic and operational leadership across clinical supply planning, forecasting, inventory management, labeling, packaging, distribution, and returns for global clinical trials.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing clinical supply strategy to ensure uninterrupted delivery of investigational products and comparators; partnering with Clinical Operations to align supply plans with enrollment forecasts, protocol amendments, and study timelines; collaborating with Program Management to integrate supply activities into development plans and manage risk; and serving as the clinical supply lead within CMC/Technical Operations, translating manufacturing and release plans into robust supply strategies.
The role requires leading cross-functional planning with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical Operations, and external partners. You will select, manage, and oversee clinical supply vendors including depots, packaging/labeling organizations, IRT providers, and logistics partners, ensuring quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness. Additional duties include developing supply plans that optimize inventory while minimizing waste and expiry risk, ensuring GxP and GDP compliance, and managing clinical supply budgets and metrics.
This is a fully remote position available to candidates in any continental US state. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in clinical supply chain management, preferably in biotech or pharma, with demonstrated expertise in vendor management, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional leadership in fast-paced development environments.
