Lightspeed is seeking a Director of Business Operations to lead the Product & Technology Operations function. This role is responsible for designing and operating the management systems that enable Product, Engineering, and Design to function as a cohesive organization. Key responsibilities include: **Shape the Operating System**: Design and continuously improve annual and quarterly planning processes that drive better decisions, clearer priorities, and measurable outcomes. Build and evolve executive operating mechanisms including portfolio reviews, business reviews, and leadership cadences that create accountability and accelerate decision-making. Identify opportunities to simplify and improve how Product, Engineering, and Design operate together. **Drive Planning & Business Performance**: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design leaders to translate strategy into investment plans and measurable outcomes. Develop executive dashboards and business insights that connect investments to customer value and execution progress. Collaborate with Finance to strengthen financial planning, budgeting, workforce planning, and investment transparency. **Build Enterprise Partnerships**: Establish strong operating relationships with Finance, GTM, People, Legal, and Corporate Communications. Create effective planning interlocks and feedback loops that improve alignment and execution across the company. Help Product & Technology communicate investment priorities and outcomes. **Lead the Function**: Build, coach, and develop a high-performing Business Operations team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, curiosity, and operational excellence. Required experience includes designing or significantly evolving operating models and planning processes, leading organizations through operational change, building executive operating rhythms, and connecting strategy with portfolio and financial planning. Strong executive communication skills and ability to influence senior leaders are essential. Fluency in English is required.
