Brooklinen is seeking a Director of Business Operations to strengthen the connection between product development and go-to-market execution. Reporting to the SVP of Operations, you will own the cross-functional operating cadence that supports the product lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring clarity, accountability, and momentum across teams. Key responsibilities include orchestrating product development and launch processes by driving cross-functional operating cadences, partnering with Product Development, Merchandising, Production, Creative, Digital, and Marketing teams to align milestones and dependencies, and ensuring clear handoffs with accountability. You will also strengthen the go-to-market process across product, brand, digital, and channel teams, acting as a central coordinator for launch readiness while maintaining momentum. You will lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives requiring coordination across multiple functions and senior stakeholders, building credibility through strong judgment and collaborative approaches. You'll navigate competing priorities objectively, help teams make practical tradeoffs, and identify risks early to resolve blockers quickly. Operational excellence is central to the role: you will strengthen how teams work together by bringing clarity to timelines, handoffs, and decision points, introduce practical ways of working that improve coordination without unnecessary complexity, and translate lessons from launches into better operating models. You'll help lay the foundation for a scalable business operations capability. Success means product development and launch timelines feel clear and coordinated, cross-functional partners trust your judgment, teams collaborate more smoothly, launches come to market with stronger alignment, and the organization gains a consistent, scalable way of bringing products to life. You bring 10+ years of experience in business operations, product operations, or cross-functional leadership within consumer brands, with deep expertise in soft goods product development. You are fluent in how products move from concept through sampling, development, approvals, production, and launch. You have experience building or improving cross-functional go-to-market processes, exceptional relationship-building and influence skills, strong situational leadership and negotiation abilities, and a builder's mindset. Experience with brands known for strong product development and go-to-market operating models in soft goods, apparel, or consumer goods is a plus.
