Chamber Cardio is rebuilding the system for cardiology by partnering with independent cardiologists to lead population health efforts. The company combines clinical expertise, technology, and operational tools to shift outcomes from volume-based to value-based care. As Director of ACO Operations, you will launch and scale Chamber's Accountable Care Organization (ACO), going live in January 2027. This is a founding operational role with full ownership of the ACO's performance, governance, compliance, and network management. Key responsibilities include: launching the ACO and proving the specialty-focused cardiology model; owning CMS submissions and enrollment cycles end-to-end; establishing governance structures, committee frameworks, and decision rights; ensuring regulatory compliance across Medicare value-based programs (MSSP, ACO REACH); designing and running payment operations with Finance and Provider Network teams; translating value-based contracts into working financial workflows (attribution, reconciliation, settlement); tracking performance against quality, cost, and utilization targets; and partnering with Clinical and Network teams to improve outcomes. In your first 90 days, you will master the ACO launch plan and align leadership on the critical path; own CMS submission and enrollment processes; and pressure-test payment operations before launch. You will work fluidly across regulatory detail, execution, and strategic judgment, partnering closely with Finance, Provider Network, Clinical, and Product teams. This role rewards an operator excited by expanded accountability and the opportunity to define what a specialty ACO can be. Required: 6–10+ years in healthcare operations with meaningful experience in value-based care, population health, or ACO/managed care; deep knowledge of Medicare value-based programs and CMS requirements; track record of independently owning and scaling complex operational initiatives; strong command of payment operations and value-based contract mechanics; highly analytical with comfort manipulating large datasets; clear communication skills for executive audiences; entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with ambiguity and accountable for outcomes.
