Paraform is an AI-powered recruiting marketplace connecting companies with specialized recruiters and AI agents to fill roles faster and more accurately. The company has grown 8x in revenue and is backed by top-tier investors including Scale, Felicis, and founders from YouTube, Instacart, and Canva.
As Director of Account Management (Supply), you will own and scale the supply-side operations engine, managing the economic health of thousands of independent recruiter businesses on the platform. This role combines strategic architecture design with hands-on leadership of a growing team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and build a tiered, verticalized account motion for top-performing recruiters while creating a programmatic, product-led engagement strategy for the long tail of supply that scales without manual overhead.
- Own supply activation and retention economics, maximizing active, placement-producing recruiters and preventing dormancy in the tail—a critical marketplace challenge.
- Lead and develop managers and individual contributors, promoting high-output ICs into first-time manager roles and hiring elite external operators as the organization scales.
- Partner closely with Product and demand-side operations teams to turn operational friction into automation and AI-agent capabilities, treating recruiter problems as systems problems rather than headcount issues.
- Use data and modern AI tools to diagnose liquidity leaks, identify cohort drop-offs, detect over-exploited top performers, and run precise, hypothesis-driven interventions.
You'll need 6+ years scaling supply-side operations or account management in a marketplace or high-growth, target-carrying commercial environment with real experience managing managers. You should think natively in marketplace dynamics—liquidity, activation, earnings distribution, switching costs—and view recruiters as small-business owners with zero switching costs, not as SaaS customers with renewal cycles.
You're a builder who has created playbooks from scratch, run them yourself, and handed them to teams with measurable scale. You're experienced promoting first-time managers and hiring in fast, under-structured environments. You have data curiosity and can design experiments to inflect key metrics.
This is a company-defining role: the supply you steward directly enables platform GMV. You'll build the operating system for a marketplace supply organization from 0 to 1, similar to early driver ops at Uber or merchant success at DoorDash, then automate it.
