Salary: USD 116,000 - 178,200 / annual
Okta is seeking a Scrum Lead to support the Digital team's operational PODs across digital initiatives. In this role, you will facilitate scrum team events across multiple teams, driving agile transformation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead scrum teams with a focus on product-driven, customer-centric delivery
- Facilitate all scrum events (standups, planning, retrospectives, reviews) and remove impediments
- Coach and mentor team members on agile values, principles, and practices
- Partner with Product Owners and Technical Program Managers to manage priorities, groom backlogs, and deliver on sprint and quarterly plans
- Ensure critical blockers are resolved and maintain transparency across stakeholders
- Foster internal communication and effective cross-functional collaboration
- Guide teams toward higher maturity levels and effective value delivery
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years running multiple scrum teams in a SaaS environment
- 5+ years coaching and mentoring technical scrum teams
- Strong knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
- Proficiency with Asana, Jira, Confluence, and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Lucid)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence
- Ability to analyze problems quickly, adapt to change, and influence without authority
- Self-motivated with strong focus and resilience in ambiguous environments
- Exposure to business systems (Salesforce, Workday, financial management tools)
Preferred qualifications include Scrum Master certification (CSM, A-CSM) or Product Owner certification (CSPO).
