PhysicsX is a deep-tech company building an AI-driven simulation software stack for engineering and manufacturing across advanced industries including Aerospace & Defense, Materials, Energy, Semiconductors, and Automotive. The company enables high-fidelity, multi-physics simulation through AI inference to unlock optimization and automation in design, manufacturing, and operations. As Deployment Engineering Lead, you will serve as the Field CTO and regional leader for the Deployment Engineering team, owning both customer relationships and deployment outcomes. You are the primary technical contact for CIOs and CTOs of strategic accounts, building trusted partnerships that extend beyond individual deployments into long-term relationships. Key responsibilities include: - Leading end-to-end deployment success for complex, high-stakes infrastructure projects in customer environments - Managing deployment teams for your region, setting delivery standards and scaling the team to match company growth - Serving as the senior technical voice representing PhysicsX at the executive level with customer leadership - Owning the deployment programme across accounts, understanding status of active deployments, identifying blockers early - Navigating security, compliance, and infrastructure governance requirements in regulated industries - Working with customer IT teams to map environments, stand up Kubernetes-based infrastructure, and ensure successful go-live - Collaborating cross-functionally with delivery leads and infrastructure teams to align commercial commitments with technical delivery - Shaping how PhysicsX delivers platform version upgrades in the field, ensuring reliability and predictable cadence You bring strong engineering background in infrastructure, platform, or systems engineering with proven ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to executive audiences. You have a track record of hiring, developing, and scaling technical teams that execute at speed. You understand enterprise software deployment in complex, regulated environments—on-premise infrastructure, air-gapped systems, and lengthy approval processes. You balance technical depth with commercial awareness, understanding how deployment success drives business outcomes. You're customer-first, building trust through transparency on timelines, constraints, and possibilities.
