Ema is building an Agentic AI platform to transform enterprise productivity by enabling organizations to delegate repetitive tasks to AI agents. The company was founded by former executives from Google, Coinbase, Flipkart, and Okta, and is backed by leading investors including Accel, Naspers/Prosus, Section32, and angels like Sheryl Sandberg and Dustin Moskovitz. Ema is headquartered in Silicon Valley with offices in London, Bangalore, and Vancouver.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will build and manage the infrastructure powering Ema's AI platform. You'll design cloud systems, automate deployments, and ensure everything scales reliably to support millions of enterprises.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure
- Automating infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Ansible
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe deployments
- Building observability systems (logging, monitoring, alerting)
- Ensuring security, performance, and reliability at scale
- Supporting multi-tenant SaaS architecture and scaling
Requirements:
- 4+ years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience
- Expert-level Kubernetes and containerization knowledge
- Terraform and infrastructure-as-code proficiency
- Cloud platform mastery (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong systems thinking and distributed systems knowledge
- B.Tech in CS/ECE from IIT/NIT/IIIT/BITS or equivalent
Preferred qualifications:
- Multi-cloud experience
- Helm charts and deployment automation
- Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
- ML infrastructure experience
