In this DevOps Engineer role, you will work with development teams to design and support security products and platforms. You will provide guidelines and best practices for DevOps, continuous delivery, automation, and software delivery across development teams. Responsibilities include rolling out major changes, providing Tier 2/3 support during maintenance windows, and supporting a SaaS service that may require irregular work hours and on-call support during North American business hours. You will document activities in the ticketing system, perform capacity planning and operational activities as the infrastructure scales, and mentor Associate and Junior Engineers.
The role requires hands-on technical expertise in deploying and integrating complex systems across diverse operating environments. You will work with leading cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS), use advanced scripting (bash, Python), and manage Kubernetes workloads. Experience with DevOps tooling such as Docker, Jenkins, Helm, and Terraform is essential. You must have deep experience running production workloads, including monitoring, capacity planning, service deployments, and pod debugging. Strong communication skills and experience working with remote teams across timezones are critical.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience deploying and integrating complex systems across various operating system environments
- 2+ years of experience with a leading cloud vendor (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon AWS)
- Advanced scripting experience required (bash, Python)
- Comfortable and capable with Kubernetes and kubectl for deploying, managing, and troubleshooting workloads
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling (Docker, Jenkins, Helm, Terraform)
- In-depth experience running production workloads (monitoring, capacity planning, service deployments, pod debugging)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong skills working with remote teams in different timezones
- Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills for multi-domain problems (applications, network, systems)
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent (Advanced degree is a plus)
