AND Global is seeking a Senior Developer to join a team of up to 8 engineers. You will be responsible for developing complex distributed systems and designing innovative technology-based solutions to meet customer needs.
In this role, you will work closely with other development teams, testers, documentation writers, and product management to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities include converting workflow information into programming language, troubleshooting and providing swift fixes to bugs, conducting code reviews, creating periodic documentation and building libraries, and identifying opportunities to automate processes.
You will also prepare reference materials for end-users by writing operating instructions and maintaining historical records through thorough documentation of application development and revisions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development
- Proficiency in programming languages: PHP, JavaScript (NodeJS, React JS, etc.)
- Database knowledge (SQL, NoSQL, etc.)
- Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows systems
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and analysis techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively
- BS or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
PREFERRED QUALITIES:
- Open source contributions
- Knowledge or understanding of distributed systems, cloud technologies, Docker, containerization, microservices, serverless architecture
- Professional certifications
