Figma is seeking a Designer Advocate to join its Advocacy team in Berlin, covering the DACH region. This hybrid role bridges the gap between Figma's product, marketing, sales, and customer experience teams while championing the design community. You will empower users at scale by collaborating with Sales and Customer Experience teams to help customers unlock Figma's full potential across real product workflows. You'll create compelling content—written, visual, and video resources—that reflect how modern teams actually design and build, from early exploration to production-ready systems. A key part of your role is fostering meaningful relationships within the Figma community, identifying collaboration opportunities, and nurturing user-driven initiatives. You'll regularly present at industry meetups, conferences, and community events, sharing practical insights from real-world design work. You'll also champion user voices by staying attuned to community feedback, sentiment, and emerging design trends, advocating internally to inform product decisions and improvements. This role requires a willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to connect with the community in person. Fluency in German or Polish is a plus, as you'll be covering the DACH region where these are primary languages. REQUIREMENTS: - Deep, hands-on Figma expertise and entrepreneurial drive, with experience embedding Figma in real product teams and taking ideas from early exploration to polished, impactful outcomes - Thorough understanding of modern product design workflows, development environments, design systems, tokens, and AI-assisted design or prototyping - Strong technical design skills, including experience working alongside developers or building tools that support design systems, and understanding of how design decisions translate into development at scale - Clear, compelling communication skills, with confidence to explain complex workflows and systems, speak publicly, and engage large audiences - Passion for contributing to the design community and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time - Plus: Fluency in German or Polish
