Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Deputy Logistics Program Manager to join its Deployments Team in Costa Mesa, CA. This role is central to the execution and support of Anduril's advanced hardware and software systems deployed worldwide.
You will serve as the working-level owner of how advanced systems are supported, translating high-level logistics strategies into real-world execution. While the Logistics Program Manager (LPM) defines the high-level support construct and contractual commitments, you are accountable for the analytical substance underlying those decisions and the deliverables shipped to customers. Within your assigned scope, you have autonomy to decide and execute; outside of it, you develop strategic recommendations for the LPM's approval.
Key responsibilities include:
• Authoring and owning the sustainment CDRL suite (LSP, LORA, SSPCL, PTD, Technical Manuals per MIL-STD-40051, GEIA-STD-0007). Translate engineering analyses (FMECA, RCM, MTA) into provisioning quantities, maintenance intervals, and support equipment lists.
• Managing day-to-day repair-and-return pipelines, tracking turnaround times, and building provisioning baselines (spares, forecasting). Ensure 100% accuracy of physical and digital property records across CONUS and OCONUS sites.
• Identifying program gaps and building SOPs, trackers, and data standards to close them. Proactively surface unaddressed risks, take ownership of unassigned problems, and execute hands-on—from writing procedures to supporting field activations.
• Partnering with the LPM to build the LCSP and Product Support Business Case Analyses (organic/CLS/PBL). Represent supportability at design reviews (SRR/PDR/CDR) to ensure reliability and maintainability are embedded in design. Run the DMSMS program to mitigate obsolescence.
• Building O&S cost estimates, analyzing performance metrics (Ao, MTBF/MTTR), and serving as the secondary voice to government stakeholders. Direct junior logisticians and deputize for the LPM in reviews as needed.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business/operations, or related technical field (equivalent experience may substitute). 5+ years of progressively complex acquisition logistics, product support, or sustainment program management in DoD or comparable government programs. Hands-on, end-to-end ownership of at least two IPS elements on a DoD or comparable government acquisition program. Working knowledge of the 12 IPS elements and DoD product support strategy. Direct experience authoring and delivering logistics CDRLs against DIDs. Familiarity with supportability analyses (LORA, LMI, SERD, provisioning, RAM/RAM-C). Strong analytical skills and comfort owning sustainment models and datasets independently.
