Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced autonomous systems and AI. The company is building Arsenal-1, a hyperscale manufacturing facility in Pickaway County, Ohio, to produce cutting-edge defense systems at unprecedented scale and speed.
Roadrunner is Anduril's flagship VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) counter-UAS interceptor designed for autonomous air defense operations. It rapidly detects, tracks, and neutralizes hostile unmanned aircraft systems to protect critical assets and personnel.
As Deputy Head of Production for Roadrunner, you will own all production outcomes for the Roadrunner product line and drive the strategic development and execution of manufacturing operations. You will lead the ramp to full-rate production, managing aggressive timelines while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning production strategy, ramp plans, headcount, and standing up new manufacturing lines
- Leading cross-functional teams (Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering) with strong on-site presence and accountability
- Driving operational excellence through process maturation, KPI management, and financial optimization
- Ensuring compliance with AS9100D guidelines and fostering a quality-first culture
- Advising on and overseeing digital technology implementation (PLM, ERP, custom MES/QMS systems) to enable efficient scaling
- Shaping corporate tools and processes to support aerospace production needs
You will receive 3 months of training under Anduril's world-class manufacturing team at HQ in Costa Mesa, CA before establishing excellence at the Ohio facility.
Required: 8+ years overseeing production and test of complex electromechanical products; strong leadership managing 100+ person manufacturing teams; proven quality assurance background with AS9100D accountability; experience scaling from low-rate prototype to high-rate manufacturing.
