Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is building Arsenal-1, a hyperscale manufacturing facility in Pickaway County, Ohio, to produce autonomous systems and weapons at unprecedented scale and speed. The Launched Effects team is responsible for manufacturing and delivering the Altius family of air-launched autonomous aerial systems—advanced platforms used by the U.S. military and allies for ISR, electronic warfare, and kinetic strike capabilities.
As Deputy Head of Production for Altius at Arsenal-1, you will lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and scale the product line from initial ramp to full-rate production. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role requiring both factory-floor presence and executive-level thinking.
Key responsibilities include: owning all production outcomes and delivery schedules; executing ramp plans and managing CapEx/project spend; building Arsenal-1's operational culture from the ground up and mentoring frontline supervisors and technical leaders; directing on-site teams (technicians, manufacturing engineers, quality, supply chain) and holding them accountable to strict deadlines and KPIs; establishing Arsenal-1 as a world-class "showpiece" facility for customer and government visits; driving operational and quality excellence with AS9100D alignment; advising on and overseeing digital tools (PLM, ERP, MES, QMS); and owning the five pillars: planning, supply chain, production, manufacturing engineering, and quality.
You will train alongside world-class manufacturing teams at Anduril's Costa Mesa headquarters and Atlanta production lines for three months before launching and scaling production in Ohio. This role demands a dynamic leader who can rally cross-functional teams, communicate across the factory floor and to executive leadership, and instill a relentless sense of urgency and high performance.
