Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking an experienced Deputy Director of Industrial Security to lead enterprise-wide industrial security operations. This is a critical leadership role overseeing strategic direction and operational execution of the company's industrial security program across multiple cleared facilities nationwide.
You will lead a large, geographically dispersed security team including Regional Facility Security Officers (RFSOs), site-level Facility Security Officers (FSOs), and a centralized Personnel Security (PERSEC) team. As the senior technical authority on 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), you will ensure absolute enterprise-wide compliance across all cleared facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the senior technical authority on NISPOM regulations, ensuring enterprise-wide compliance
- Leverage expertise with US government security policies and procedures related to industrial security
- Build a culture of compliance, operational excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement
- Establish team KPIs, conduct performance reviews, allocate resources, and develop professional growth pathways
- Coordinate with the security education manager to develop and deliver security education topics
- Oversee and standardize Standard Practice Procedures (SPPs) for all cleared locations
- Lead preparation for Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) security reviews and vulnerability assessments
- Serve as escalated point of contact for complex security violations and adverse information reporting
- Oversee and coordinate all activities related to Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI)
You will work within a collaborative team environment while taking independent action to analyze problems and provide security-focused solutions to Anduril and government personnel.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of industrial security-related experience
- Minimum 5+ years directly managing large, cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams (including managing managers/regional leaders)
- Direct experience having served as an appointed Facility Security Officer (FSO) for a possessing/cleared facility
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills with ability to achieve goals while handling multiple tasks
- Ability to communicate and interact professionally and courteously orally and in writing with all levels of employees, management, and customers
- Experience integrating security operations following corporate Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Active Top Secret clearance required
