EliseAI is a Series E AI company ($250M raised) focused on transforming housing and healthcare through agentic AI. The Future Platforms team operates as a startup-within-a-startup, tasked with building the next generation of autonomous operations products for housing operators. As a Deployment Strategist for Accounting, you will own the end-to-end delivery of EliseAI's accounting platform across multiple concurrent client deployments. This is a founding-level operational role that blends accounting expertise, customer success, and product thinking. Key responsibilities include: - Own accounting deployment success from late-stage sales handoff through post-launch stabilization and rolloff - Lead accounting discovery and scoping with senior stakeholders (Controllers, CFOs, Finance teams) to define workflows and make critical implementation decisions (bank account strategy, vendor onboarding, chart of accounts structure, transaction design) - Execute hands-on configuration including COA setup, vendor/entity onboarding, and transaction mapping - Manage detailed client data gathering, validation, and refinement to ensure accuracy and completeness - Drive migration readiness, data cutover, reconciliation, and post-launch stabilization - Run training and adoption programs for accounting teams to ensure confident system operation - Build scalable playbooks, templates, and best practices from implementation learnings - Partner cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to surface gaps and improve workflows This role requires someone who combines strong accounting intuition with a builder mindset and founder-level ownership. You'll operate with full autonomy in a fast-scaling environment, moving at high velocity to solve real client problems with precision. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management, or operator roles at high-growth startups, plus a background in accounting or finance.
