Vitalize Care is building a labor and capacity operating system for health systems that forecasts demand, matches staff automatically, and coordinates patients across hospitals. The company has raised over $32M and serves customers who pay 5–15x more than legacy solutions because Vitalize is mission-critical software.
As a Deployment Strategist, you will be the trusted advisor and face of Vitalize to hospital C-suite executives, nursing leaders, and operational stakeholders. You'll embed directly with customers to understand how their organizations actually function, diagnose operational bottlenecks, align cross-functional teams, and architect deployments that reshape how health systems staff and operate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Become a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, nursing leaders, and operational stakeholders as they redesign labor planning, staffing, and management across health systems
- Design and continuously refine repeatable deployment playbooks for academic medical centers and complex, multi-union health systems
- Align executives and cross-functional stakeholders across Nursing, Operations, IT, Finance, HR, PMO, Labor Relations, and Legal to drive successful enterprise-wide go-lives
- Develop a predictable launch motion for new system integrations, including greenfield HRIS and payroll builds
- Partner directly with Go-to-Market and Customer Success on internal flows, tools, and processes that drive long-term client success
- Work with Product, Design, and Engineering to build and iterate on new product lines, driving ARR growth through expansion
- Build new deployment systems, tools, and operating processes as Vitalize scales from dozens to hundreds of hospitals
The deployment team is scaling from 30 to 300+ hospitals and owns the most complex, highest-stakes enterprise rollouts. Your work directly shapes how new product lines and expansions land with customers, unlocking multi-million-dollar ARR and measurable ROI.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Clear communicator who can communicate with clarity and confidence across every audience, from frontline clinicians to C-suite executives; ability to simplify complex ideas, navigate difficult conversations, and build alignment
- Detailed project and deployment management skills; excel at managing complex, cross-functional deployments from planning through go-live; anticipate risks, prioritize effectively, and bring structure to ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Ability to build trust with nurses, physicians, and hospital staff; approach customers as a consultative partner; listen first, seek to understand clinical workflows, and earn credibility by solving problems alongside the people doing the work
- Ability to drive change management and influence adoption; recognize that successful deployments are driven by people, not just technology; identify resistance, build buy-in across diverse stakeholder groups, and help organizations embrace new ways of working
- Self-starter who can operate autonomously with little direction; thrive in rapidly changing environments and ambiguity; consistently identify opportunities to improve processes, solve problems, and move work forward
