As a Deployment Strategist at Hippocratic AI, you own healthcare AI deployments end-to-end for health systems, providers, payors, and life sciences organizations. You'll manage defined deployment workstreams and major customer milestones, establishing stakeholder relationships, identifying technical and operational dependencies, and driving measurable value in real clinical and operational environments.
The role bridges strategic partnership and hands-on execution. You'll work alongside engineers, product managers, customer success partners, and clinical experts, serving as both a strategic advisor and execution lead. Success requires understanding clinical and operational workflows, building trust with executive stakeholders, connecting product capabilities to operational needs, and driving technical delivery through ambiguity.
Key responsibilities include: mapping actual care and operational workflows (not documentation), determining which workflows are ready for AI automation, translating operational goals into concrete solution designs, and surfacing technical and operational dependencies. You'll configure and test agent behavior directly using JSON, command line, and version control; validate data accuracy; drive integration, security review, and go-live sequencing; and resolve mid-build ambiguity independently.
Post-launch, you'll establish baselines and quantify impact, build dashboards for operational leaders, earn executive trust to unlock additional workflows, and document learnings to accelerate future deployments. You should expect 25-40% travel for on-site implementation support, customer meetings, training, and go-live activities.
