Campfire is a next-generation core accounting platform built for modern mid-market finance teams. The company has grown 10x in the past year by replacing legacy ERPs and manual accounting processes with automation-driven solutions.
As a Deployment Strategist, you will own the technical execution of customer implementations from contract signature through go-live and post-launch stabilization. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for driving successful platform deployments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the complete implementation lifecycle: scoping, configuration, data migration, testing, and launch
- Configuring the platform to match each customer's accounting workflows, reporting structures, and integration requirements
- Leading data migration from source systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle), ensuring accuracy and clean cutover
- Building and executing comprehensive testing and validation plans across financial workflows and integrations
- Managing project plans, timelines, and dependencies across multiple concurrent implementations
- Identifying technical and delivery risks early and resolving them before they impact launch
- Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to unblock issues and feed customer needs into the roadmap
- Ensuring smooth handoff to post-implementation support
You will be on the front line of getting customers live, with success measured by customers up and running quickly, cleanly, and confidently with the systems, integrations, and workflows they need on day one.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading software implementations, system rollouts, or technical deployments
- Strong comfort with data migration, system configuration, and integrations
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle) and financial data structures
- Sharp project-management instincts with ability to run multiple deployments in parallel without losing detail
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to spot risk early and drive issues to resolution
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills with customer-first orientation
- Comfort in fast-moving, high-growth environments
- CPA or accounting background is a plus
