Ambrook is a Series A fintech startup (backed by Thrive Capital, Dylan Field, Homebrew) rebuilding financial infrastructure for American family-run businesses—farms, ranches, and independent operators. The company has grown from 100 to 8,000+ customers in 18 months by replacing legacy accounting systems with modern tools for accounting, banking, and spending.
As a Deployment Specialist on the Services team, you'll be the embedded strategic finance expert for a portfolio of high-value customers. Your mission is to help business owners extract real insight from their financial data and build the infrastructure—tools, AI agents, templates, and models—that scales this work.
In your first month, you'll become fluent in Ambrook's product and customer base (agricultural and real-economy businesses), sit in on advisory calls with priority customers, and build your first analytical tool or AI agent. Within three months, you'll own the strategic finance relationship for a portfolio of Full Service customers, running P&L reviews, scenario modeling, and capital decision support. You'll ship 2–3 pieces of analytical infrastructure that graduate from prototypes to team assets, and surface patterns back to Product and Engineering so manual work becomes product features.
This is not a customer success or bookkeeping role—it's closer to fractional CFO work. You'll sit inside product operations with autonomy to move fast and decide whether to solve problems with the team, an agent, a process template, or the product itself. You'll combine strategic finance expertise with a builder mentality: you've already built your own systems and AI agents to make processes efficient, and you're excited to do the same for customers.
You bring 3+ years in strategic finance, FP&A, consulting, accounting, or banking. You're technically strong in accounting/finance (comfortable building models, budgets, forecasts), empathetic with diverse customer backgrounds, and comfortable with ambiguity and startup intensity. You think in systems: what stays bespoke vs. what should be automated or productized.
