Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Deployment Lead for its Air Defense team. This role is responsible for delivering and sustaining air defense capabilities that meet customer mission requirements in challenging operational environments worldwide.
You will manage domestic deployments of Anduril's Air Defense products while ensuring mission readiness to support national security infrastructure. Working closely with the Program Manager and Program Chief Engineer, you will develop long-term deployment and sustainment operations aligned with customer priorities. You will engage across multiple business lines and facilitate customer interactions, requiring flexibility, humility, and a collaborative mindset.
Key responsibilities include orchestrating hundreds of deployment events annually—site installations, test and evaluation exercises, demonstrations, training, and maintenance visits. You will lead cross-functional teams spanning hardware supply, logistics, and engineering to achieve mission success. You manage every step of the deployment process from site survey through testing, pack-out, installation, training, and sustainment.
You will build trust with customers, industry partners, users, and Anduril teammates through effective communication, positive attitude, and follow-through. By listening carefully and observing, you internalize counterparts' priorities and requirements. You develop deep knowledge of customer mission requirements, including threat nature, regulatory challenges, resource constraints, and rules of engagement, becoming the voice of the customer to Anduril engineers.
You will develop thorough understanding of Anduril's Family of Systems capabilities and limitations, becoming innately curious about the technology underpinning the capability. You educate yourself continuously about sensor modalities, sensor fusion challenges, power and networking requirements, and more. You demonstrate extraordinary judgment, grit, and composure in high-pressure situations, anticipate contingencies, build lightweight processes, and deliberately learn from experiences to continuously improve.
