Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Demand & Supply Planner to join its operations team in Costa Mesa, California. This role sits at the heart of Anduril's supply chain, managing material flow from raw materials through finished goods shipped to customers. You will own full responsibility for specific assemblies and product lines, serving as the critical link between demand forecasting and manufacturing execution.
Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day demand signaling and inventory across product lines, identifying and resolving supply chain bottlenecks through cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams, and leading Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) discussions for assigned product lines. You will work closely with Business Development and Growth teams to align forecasts with actual demand, analyze supply and material health metrics to inform strategic decisions, develop and maintain processes within MRP/ERP systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives around demand shaping, advanced modeling, and inventory optimization.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of supply chain or production experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments with complex assemblies, demonstrated ownership of complex value chains coordinating across multiple high-volume departments, technical expertise in reading technical documentation and understanding hardware manufacturing processes, and hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite) and CRM platforms (Salesforce). A Bachelor's degree in a technical field (manufacturing, engineering, analytics, computer science) or business field (finance, economics, supply chain management, business administration) is required.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, SQL database expertise for custom queries on production and inventory metrics, proficiency in data analysis tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview), knowledge of supply chain planning systems like Blue Yonder, familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles, and ability to obtain a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance. The role requires up to 10% travel and relocation to Costa Mesa if not already local.
