Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Demand & Supply Planner to join its operations team in Costa Mesa. This role owns material flow responsibility across the entire value chain—from raw materials through finished goods shipped to customers—with full ownership of specific assemblies and product lines. You will be responsible for sending accurate signals to Purchasing and Manufacturing teams regarding what and when to buy or build. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day demand signaling, ordering, and inventory for various product lines; identifying and resolving supply issues through collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing; leading Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) discussions for designated product lines; and aligning forecasts with actual demand plans in partnership with Business Development and Growth teams. You will report on and analyze supply and material health to inform critical decisions across the organization, develop and maintain processes within MRP systems and master data, and drive strategic initiatives toward best practices including demand shaping, advanced modeling, and inventory optimization. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a technical or business field; 3+ years of experience in supply chain or production roles within fast-paced manufacturing environments handling complex assemblies; demonstrated complete ownership of complex value chains coordinating across multiple high-volume departments; technical expertise in reading technical documentation and understanding hardware manufacturing processes; experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite) and CRM systems (Salesforce); and willingness to travel up to 10% and relocate to Costa Mesa if needed. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, strong SQL database skills for custom queries, proficiency in data analysis tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview), knowledge of supply chain planning systems like Blue Yonder, experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies, and ability to obtain a U.S. TS/SCI clearance.
