Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Demand & Supply Planner to join its operations team in Costa Mesa. This role sits at the heart of the supply chain, managing material flow from raw materials through finished goods shipped to customers. You will own specific assemblies and product lines, serving as the primary signal to Purchasing and Manufacturing on what and when to buy or build.
Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day demand signaling, ordering, and inventory across product lines; identifying and resolving supply issues through cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing; leading Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) discussions for assigned product lines; and aligning forecasts with actual demand plans in partnership with Business Development and Growth teams. You will report on supply and material health metrics to inform strategic decisions, develop and maintain processes within MRP/ERP systems, and drive initiatives toward best practices in demand shaping, advanced modeling, and inventory optimization.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a technical or business field (manufacturing, engineering, analytics, computer science, finance, economics, supply chain management, business administration, or marketing); 3+ years in supply chain or production roles within fast-paced manufacturing environments handling complex assemblies; demonstrated ownership of complex value chains coordinating across multiple high-volume departments; technical expertise in reading technical documentation and understanding hardware manufacturing processes; hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite) and CRM platforms (Salesforce); and willingness to travel up to 10% and relocate to Costa Mesa if needed.
Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, SQL database expertise with custom query building, proficiency in data analysis tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview), knowledge of supply chain planning systems like Blue Yonder, familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles, and ability to obtain a U.S. TS security clearance. The ideal candidate is proactive, takes substantial cross-functional responsibility, and prioritizes speed and accuracy in a resource-constrained, fast-paced environment.
