Oura is seeking an International Demand Planner to join their London office and lead demand planning and inventory optimization across their global operations. The Oura Ring is an award-winning wearable health device used by millions worldwide to track readiness, activity, and sleep quality.
In this role, you will serve as the critical bridge between sales, marketing, supply chain, and product teams. You'll lead cross-functional S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes, presenting demand scenarios and business risks to C-level executives to drive consensus on forecasts and inventory strategies across multiple product lines and geographic markets.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic Planning & Collaboration**: Lead monthly S&OP meetings with executive stakeholders, develop benchmarking initiatives for new country and retailer launches, partner with marketing on promotional planning and new product launch forecasting, and work with go-to-market teams on demand planning process enhancement and product lifecycle planning.
**Demand Forecasting**: Prepare weekly and monthly demand forecasts based on channel partner insights and company-driven activities, focusing on Sell In and Sell Thru metrics. Monitor and adjust forecasts to optimize channel inventories and resolve supply/demand business risks.
**Inventory Optimization**: Allocate supplies to improve delivery and channel inventory metrics, develop and enhance allocation processes in collaboration with GTM teams, and interface with supply chain teams to highlight opportunities.
**Reporting & Analytics**: Build and refine reporting tools using Tableau and Google Sheets, develop forecast reports and KPIs for demand planning performance, manage channel-level inventory guidance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy.
You'll need 5+ years of demand or merchandise planning experience in hardware and/or retail industries, strong communication skills, experience with demand planning tools (Anaplan, etc.), knowledge of IBP and S&OP processes, fluency with Excel and Google Sheets, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across functions.
