Salary: USD 174,600 - 213,400 / annual
Mixpanel is a leading product intelligence and analytics platform trusted by 29,000+ companies. The Delivery Engineer II role focuses on post-sales customer success, owning onboarding and data health for strategic, high-value clients.
You will be the primary technical consultant for customers integrating Mixpanel into their product development processes and data ecosystems. Your responsibilities include designing and executing world-class onboarding experiences, consulting on data architecture and analytics best practices, and ensuring customers achieve maximum value from the platform.
Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end onboarding and ongoing data health optimization for assigned accounts
- Align with pre-sales and consult with prospects/clients to define business goals and metrics
- Engage with customers' engineering, product, and marketing teams on technical implementation and deployment optimization
- Deliver technical services including data architecture consultations, adoption strategies, and change management
- Create scalable data governance practices and improve data trust through optimization projects
- Manage complex project timelines, scope, and stakeholder expectations
- Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams on customer priorities
- Build AI automations to help customers manage data at scale
- Consult on integrating agentic AI workflows with Mixpanel data
Required qualifications:
- Proficiency with data querying, modeling, and transformation (SQL, dbt, Python, BI tools, or product analytics platforms)
- Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses (GCP, AWS Redshift, Azure)
- Knowledge of product analytics implementation methods (SDKs, CDPs, event streaming, reverse ETL)
- Understanding of analytics best practices across business segments
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Hands-on experience embedding AI into workflows and familiarity with MCP servers
- Background in customer success, professional services, consulting, or technical project management
- Strong communication, analytical, and writing skills
- Process and project delivery discipline
