Mixpanel is a leading product intelligence and analytics platform trusted by 29,000+ companies. The Delivery Engineer II role is a post-sales technical position focused on customer onboarding, data health, and integration success.
You will own the onboarding experience and ongoing data quality for strategic, high-value clients. Working directly with customer engineering, product, and marketing teams, you'll deliver technical services including data architecture consultations, Mixpanel deployment optimization, and data governance best practices. Your responsibilities include aligning with pre-sales teams to define business goals and metrics, executing technical onboarding projects, managing complex timelines and scope, and serving as a technical sponsor for internal product prioritization requests from customers.
A key emerging focus is AI and agentic workflows: you'll help customers build and integrate AI automations into their data management processes, consult on AI/data strategy, and ensure customers can leverage Mixpanel's AI integrations effectively.
You should have hands-on experience with data querying, modeling, and transformation (SQL, dbt, Python, BI tools, or product analytics tools). Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Google Cloud, Redshift, Azure), product analytics implementation methods (SDKs, CDPs, event streaming, Reverse ETL), and analytics best practices across verticals is essential. You'll need strong project management skills, experience in customer success or professional services, and the ability to manage stakeholders across departments. Comfort with AI tools and the ability to credibly advise customers on AI/data strategy is increasingly important. Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and process discipline are required.
