The Deal Operations Analyst role is part of the Revenue Operations team, reporting to the Head of Deal Operations. This position sits at the center of Postman's deal lifecycle, working collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Legal, Renewals, and Orders teams to ensure smooth quote creation, approvals, order form generation, opportunity maintenance, and bookings processing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating quotes and order forms for sales deals
- Reviewing and approving qualified quote requests
- Processing and reviewing customer orders, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the order cycle
- Supporting internal and external customers with order booking and tracking
- Handling escalations and exception cases for booking requests
- Researching ARR calculation discrepancies
- Assisting with non-standard, custom, and complex deal structures
- Coordinating cross-functional efforts with Finance, Legal, Renewals, Collections, and other teams
- Accurately entering deal information into Salesforce
- Conducting post-close audit reviews of Salesforce transaction data
- Contributing to Deal Operations process improvements and special projects
Required qualifications include hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (Quote to Cash), back-office operations, and order processing. Preferred experience includes familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools like Ironclad or Conga. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong Salesforce, Excel, and Google Suite proficiency, exceptional attention to detail, excellent cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Flexibility for month-end and quarter-end work is essential.
