Salary: USD 84,000 - 123,500 / annual
As a Deal Desk Analyst at Dataminr, you will serve as a critical coordinator between Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal, Accounting, and FP&A teams. Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, you will own the quote-to-cash process, ensuring deals are constructed, reviewed, approved, and negotiated in alignment with company pricing and policy expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
**Sales Order Process Support**: Collaborate with sales teams to generate accurate quotes, track necessary approvals, and process sales orders with complete documentation.
**Pricing Guidance & Strategy**: Partner with sales to provide insights on pricing strategies using data and company guidelines, ensuring deals align with business objectives.
**Discount Approval Process**: Monitor discount levels against company guidelines, recommend adjustments when necessary, and ensure deals meet business targets.
**Process Improvement**: Identify and implement enhancements to deal desk processes to boost efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Provide guidance to technology teams on system improvements.
**Training & Support**: Deliver ongoing training to sales teams on deal desk processes, tools, and policies. Design training materials and support product launches.
**RFP Support**: Assist in reviewing and responding to RFPs by collaborating with subject matter experts and ensuring timely submissions.
You'll have exposure across the entire business, requiring strong organizational skills, time management, and clear communication. The role demands someone who can juggle multiple priorities—from creating service orders to responding to purchase questionnaires—while maintaining accuracy and supporting sales efficiency.
