Veeva Business Consulting, the consulting arm of Veeva Systems (a public benefit corporation), is seeking a Data Scientist to join its EU Analytics practice. Veeva builds industry cloud solutions for Life Sciences, combining software, data, AI, and business consulting. The consulting division, launched in 2019, has grown to over 500 global experts and is expanding aggressively toward 2030.
In this role, you will help Life Sciences customers accelerate treatment delivery by transforming their approach to technology, data, and AI. You will focus on reshaping operating models, driving organizational change, and measuring business impact. Your core responsibilities include designing and scaling advanced analytics solutions for European Life Sciences customers, processing and harmonizing Veeva Data Cloud products with diverse European healthcare datasets, and developing statistical, machine learning, and AI models to address complex commercial and strategic questions.
Key deliverables include building HCP (healthcare professional) precision engagement engines that integrate disparate healthcare datasets with customer CRM systems to enable personalized, data-driven targeting. You will own analytics assets end-to-end—from solution design through expectation management, status reporting, and impact measurement. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, data engineers, operations teams, and consultants to deliver integrated analytical solutions with continuous feedback loops. You will also maintain clear documentation of data methodologies, model architectures, and validation processes to ensure defensibility and scalability across client engagements.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of proven experience in data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning roles, preferably within Life Sciences, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare analytics
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to translate complex technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders and drive pragmatic solution design
- Strong technical expertise in Python, SQL, advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI
- Proven ability to design and implement predictive models and intelligent algorithms
- Experience writing process documentation, technical specifications, and data collection guidelines
NICE TO HAVE:
- Knowledge of Veeva products
- Experience delivering SaaS or tech-enabled consulting solutions
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
- Languages in addition to English
- Understanding of healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry data
- Experience with data visualization tools for dashboards and reports
- Understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines) and automation tools such as Apache Airflow
- Familiarity with cloud-based computing resources such as AWS
