Salary: USD 320,000 - 405,000 / annual
Anthropic is rapidly scaling compute infrastructure across a portfolio of data center builds with multiple developer partnerships. The Data Center Planning team owns the integrated view of supply: compute allocation, decision locks, delivery progress, and the frameworks and tooling that underpin all of it.
You will serve as Data Center Supply Planning Lead, driving the plan for data center delivery with a broad portfolio view. Your responsibilities include:
• Build the integrated data center supply forecast and planning assumptions: committed plus pipeline supply by site, design, accelerator type, and tranche against growth targets
• Support and evolve data center portfolio reviews that ground teams on current supply state, decisions needed, and downstream impacts
• Partner with technical program management, delivery, and demand planning teams to keep hall readiness, install plans, and chip supply synchronized as any variable changes
• Build and run scenarios to assess plan impacts from delivery date, chip tranche, or target changes; develop solvers that recommend gap-closure strategies
• Plan for long-lead resources to hold in inventory, creating optionality and strategic allocation
• Shape the process by which new sites enter delivery tracking and manage change-control for date changes flowing to downstream teams
• Support buildout of a delivery planning system-of-record, partnering with internal tooling teams
Ideal candidates have led supply/capacity planning or portfolio management for data centers, power, or similar capital-intensive infrastructure. You should have architected supply planning processes, redesigned deployment processes at scale, and understand the full data center lifecycle from acquisition through commissioning. Experience with planning models, automation, and AI-assisted development is valued. You proactively surface opportunities and risks across functions and drive resolution through cross-functional influence.
Strong candidates may also have capacity planning or S&OP experience at hyperscalers, supply chain or operations research backgrounds, experience defining requirements for planning systems-of-record, or a track record of publishing detailed forecasts that external partners rely on.
