Anthropic is seeking a Data Center Sourcing Manager to own strategic silicon sourcing for the company's global data center footprint. This role focuses on CPUs, memory (DRAM and HBM), and other semiconductors critical to Anthropic's AI infrastructure deployment. You will serve as the commercial owner ensuring the right silicon is allocated, committed, and delivered to the right site at the right time, on terms that hold across programs and market cycles. Working day-to-day with engineering teams, data center operators, silicon vendors, OEMs, ODMs, and integrators, you'll bridge platform roadmaps with the supply base. Key responsibilities include running end-to-end strategic sourcing for silicon across data center platforms, securing allocation and capacity commitments on constrained parts, and negotiating long-term supply and pricing agreements. You'll maintain operational discipline through supplier scorecards, allocation tracking, roadmap alignment, and quarterly business reviews. You'll develop a deep market view of the silicon supply chain—including foundry capacity, memory pricing cycles, and vendor roadmaps—and translate it into sourcing strategies and cost targets. You'll triage supply issues across programs, drive trade-off decisions with engineering and finance, and keep stakeholders aligned through ambiguity. Additionally, you'll build Claude-powered workflows for vendor benchmarking, RFQs, contract analysis, cost modeling, and reporting. You'll produce deal memos, supply agreement summaries, vendor business reviews, and operational readouts that leadership relies on to keep programs on track. Required: 7+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations across multiple hardware categories. You must be operationally rigorous, comfortable with supplier performance and lead-time discipline, and able to operate effectively under ambiguity. Strong cross-functional influence, clear written communication, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field are essential. Bonus qualifications include 10+ years in sourcing/supply chain, 5+ years sourcing data center hardware at scale, hands-on experience with operational sourcing instruments, familiarity with data center infrastructure, and experience supporting large-scale hardware deployments.
