As Data & Analytics Lead, you will drive the organization's data-driven decision-making by combining analytics, data engineering, and AI to answer complex business and product questions. You'll build a self-service data and AI platform that enables teams across the company to explore trusted data, uncover insights, and make better decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building a self-service data and AI platform with intuitive interfaces (dashboards, natural language, AI agents) for data exploration
- Creating AI-enabled workflows and agents that accelerate analysis and reduce repetitive work while ensuring transparency and verifiability
- Translating ambiguous business and product questions into structured analyses and actionable insights
- Developing metrics and analytical frameworks connecting user behavior, product performance, on-chain activity, and business outcomes
- Proactively identifying trends, anomalies, opportunities, and risks across the platform
- Designing and evolving data architecture, models, pipelines, and transformations for on-chain and off-chain data integration
- Ensuring data quality, documentation, discoverability, and accessibility to both people and AI systems
- Leveraging expert-level Dune capabilities to investigate DEX aggregators, liquidity, routing, and market dynamics
- Building comprehensive views of users, ecosystem activity, and market dynamics by combining blockchain, product, and business data
You will be highly hands-on with deep expertise in DeFi data structures, DEX mechanics, and on-chain analytics. This is a leadership role focused on building scalable, self-service capabilities while maintaining high analytical standards.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or data engineering with a track record of solving complex product and business problems
- Expert-level Dune skills with advanced SQL proficiency and demonstrated experience building sophisticated on-chain queries, datasets, and dashboards
- Deep understanding of DeFi and blockchain data, particularly DEXes and DEX aggregators (swaps, liquidity, routing, transactions, events, traces, smart-contract interactions)
- Strong AI-native working style with hands-on experience using Cursor to accelerate analytics, automate workflows, and build AI-enabled solutions
- Strong Python proficiency for data analysis, processing, automation, and AI workflows
- Hands-on experience building and operating modern data platforms with ClickHouse and Airflow (data modeling, pipelines, transformations, quality, observability)
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous questions into structured hypotheses, robust analyses, and clear actionable answers
- Strong ownership and communication skills with ability to turn recurring needs into scalable, self-service capabilities
Nice to haves:
- Direct experience working within a DEX, DEX aggregator, DeFi protocol, or data-intensive Web3 product
- Experience with raw multi-chain blockchain data (decoding contracts, events, traces, transactions)
- Experience applying statistical methods, experimentation, forecasting, or anomaly detection
- Strong public track record in DeFi data ecosystem (Dune dashboards, research, open-source contributions, community analytics)
