Curology is a dermatology-led telehealth platform on a mission to make effective, personalized skincare accessible to millions of patients across all 50 states. The company combines expert medical care with personalized prescription formulas and dermatologist-developed skincare essentials. The Data Analyst, Growth Marketing & Attribution role owns the measurement layer that determines how acquisition spend is evaluated and allocated. Reporting to the Analytics Lead, you will sit on the Data Analytics team as the embedded analytics partner to Growth Marketing, responsible for building and defending attribution and incrementality measurement that holds up to scrutiny. Key responsibilities include: **Attribution & Incrementality Measurement:** Own Curology's first-touch and last-touch attribution models end to end, including logic, maintenance, and rationale for credit assignment. Reconcile platform-reported conversions against warehouse-sourced truth, quantify gaps, and explain drivers. Recommend when attribution modeling answers the question versus when experimentation is required. Document model logic, assumptions, and limitations for reproducibility and defensibility. **Growth Performance Reporting:** Build and maintain Tableau reporting on CAC, CVR, payback period, LTV:CAC, and funnel conversion by channel, campaign, and cohort. Define and own metric definitions so marketing, finance, and leadership work from one set of numbers. Deliver recurring performance readouts that lead with decision implications. Surface spend inefficiency and anomalies proactively. **Channel & Acquisition Economics:** Analyze acquisition cohorts through retention, churn, and LTV to identify which channels deliver subscribers who stay. Diagnose funnel performance from impression through subscription into early retention. Segment customers and audiences to inform targeting, creative, and budget allocation. **Marketing Partnership & Decision Support:** Partner with Growth Marketing on budget allocation, channel mix, and test roadmap decisions as an embedded analytical voice. Translate open-ended questions into scoped analysis with defined success criteria. State findings candidly when data contradicts channel narratives. Turn around time-sensitive questions on marketing's timeline while clearly stating when a fast read is directional. **Requirements:** - 4+ years in an analytics role, including at least 2 years directly supporting paid acquisition, performance marketing, or growth teams - Hands-on ownership of marketing attribution—building, maintaining, and defending models with working command of tradeoffs between last-touch, multi-touch, media mix, and experiment-based approaches - Working knowledge of paid channel platform data (Meta, Google, TikTok, or similar), its reporting limitations, and how to reconcile with warehouse data - Advanced SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization against large datasets in cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, or similar) - Tableau experience building and maintaining production dashboards used by business teams, not one-off visuals - Customer behavior analysis across retention, churn, cohort, LTV, and segmentation methods - Experience defining KPIs and developing metrics, scorecards, and performance reporting used by business teams and leadership - Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences in both written and live formats - Uses AI as an execution partner to accelerate query drafts, design mockups, and polish outputs while remaining fully capable of producing work without AI; corrects AI output and owns quality **Nice-to-Haves:** - Experience in a DTC subscription business - Experience measuring marketing impact beyond attributed credit (holdout tests, lift studies, media mix modeling) - Experience supporting lifecycle or CRM marketing, including email and SMS campaign measurement
