Auger is an autonomous operating system for supply chains that integrates disparate systems like ERP, WMS, and TMS. The company uses AI to detect disruptions, evaluate trade-offs, and execute decisions automatically, eliminating manual coordination overhead.
As a Customer Transformation Specialist, you will join a deployment pod and own a workstream end-to-end, responsible for delivering measurable value from Auger's platform to enterprise customers. This is a hands-on role requiring significant on-site customer engagement in their operations.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Owning the schedule and pace for your workstream, managing milestones, dependencies, and accountability. You proactively identify and address slippage before it compounds.
2. Hunting down unresolved operational questions that could surface as deployment failures. You track open items, drive decisions with named owners, and escalate anything unresolved beyond one week.
3. Translating customer business requirements into precise technical specifications that engineers can build from without follow-up clarification. You bridge the gap between business storytelling and engineering precision.
4. Owning the input metrics that feed the account value model from your workstream. You track measures like forecast accuracy, service level, exception volume, and adoption rate, flagging movement weekly.
5. Writing clear, direct updates for cross-functional teams and customer executives. Your communication is specific about what shipped, what changed, what is at risk, and next steps—no hedging or buried bad news.
The ideal candidate has 2-5 years in demanding environments: military/service academy, top-tier consulting/banking analyst programs, startups where you were stretched, or operating roles carrying real accountability. You demonstrate grit under load, analytical horsepower, speed of learning, written precision, and hunger for advancement. Supply chain experience is helpful but not required. You thrive on directness and immediate, specific feedback.
