Salary: USD 120,000 - 150,000 / annual
Junction is building the infrastructure layer for diagnostic healthcare, making patient data accessible, actionable, and automated across labs and devices. The company is backed by Creandum, Point Nine, 20VC, Y Combinator, and leading angels, and is already connecting millions of data points while scaling rapidly.
This is a proactive posting—the role isn't open today, but Junction expects to hire a CSM in the future and is meeting candidates early to move quickly when headcount is approved. This means a slower timeline and no guarantee at the end, but an opportunity to join a mission-driven team early.
You will own a focused portfolio of 25–40 accounts, primarily in the digital health segment, managing the full customer lifecycle from onboarding through renewal and expansion. Your day-to-day includes running onboarding to get customers to their first meaningful milestone quickly, conducting quarterly business reviews that drive real conversations (not just status updates), proactively identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and building a pulse on account health using usage data and engagement signals to catch churn risks early.
You'll be the internal voice of your customers, bringing patterns, feedback, and frustrations to product and engineering in actionable ways. You'll help define what great CS looks like for wearable and digital health customers—this is still evolving—and bring a point of view on how AI tools can make CS work faster and smarter (the company has budget and appetite to build this in).
Success is measured by renewal rate across your book, expansion revenue from upsells and cross-sells, time-to-value for new customers, and customer satisfaction (NPS/CSAT).
Junction's customer base spans digital health platforms, wearable companies, and health systems. The CS team of 6 currently manages ~40 accounts each and is scaling into new segments. The reactive work gets done, but proactive work—useful QBRs, expansion spotting, churn prevention—is where the team is stretched.
You'll work closely with the CS Leader and feed directly into product and engineering. The role requires comfort with technical products (APIs, data integrations, health data workflows) and genuine curiosity about how things work. You'll also need commercial confidence: you're comfortable having pricing and renewal conversations directly, making the case for value, and pushing on upsell opportunities without hiding behind sales.
Benefits include $120,000–$150,000 base salary plus bonus and equity, fully remote work with flexible scheduling, $1,000 home office equipment stipend, coworking budget, $150 monthly learning budget, $100 monthly wellness budget, 36 days paid time off (including bank holidays), premium healthcare coverage, 4% monthly 401(k) contribution, yearly blood test, and enhanced parental/foster/adoption leave.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–6 years of customer success experience owning accounts end-to-end
- Managed 20–50 accounts at a time and know how to stay on top of them
- High agency: spot problems, form a view, and act without being asked
- Commercial confidence: comfortable with pricing, renewal, and upsell conversations
- Adaptability: read the room quickly and flex your approach for different stakeholders
- Technical curiosity: worked with technical products (APIs, developer tools, data platforms) and genuinely enjoyed learning how they work
- Early-stage background: worked at Seed through Series C company; ambiguity energizes rather than frustrates you
- Must be physically based in GMT or EST timezone; no visa sponsorship at this stage
- Not required to tick every box—genuine interest in the problems and ability to contribute matters most
