Postman is the world's leading API platform used by 45+ million developers and 500,000 organizations, including 98% of the Fortune 500. The company is building out its Customer Success Engineering team and seeking experienced technical professionals to serve as the technical architects of customer success. In this role, you will partner closely with Customer Success Managers to own the technical "how" of customer solutioning. This is a consultative, hands-on position—not a support role. You'll solve real problems at scale, translating complex business objectives into actionable implementation steps. Key responsibilities include: • Value Acceleration: Unblock customers facing setup issues to complex architectural challenges, identifying patterns and building reusable solutions that prevent problems from recurring across the customer base. • Technical Discovery & Solutioning: Partner with CSMs to understand business objectives, conduct deep technical discovery of customer stacks, and design battle-tested, production-ready implementation paths. • Collateral & Enablement: Build reusable technical assets—guides, templates, scripts, reference implementations—that scale best practices across customers. • Product Feedback: Capture customer challenges, propose interim solutions, and document gaps to inform product roadmap discussions. • Adaptive Problem Solving: Design pragmatic solutions (workarounds, custom scripts, integrations) when out-of-the-box functionality is insufficient. You bring 6-8+ years in a technical customer-facing role (Customer Success Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, or Technical Account Management). You have a strong CS/Engineering foundation, hands-on experience with JavaScript/Node.js/TypeScript or equivalent modern scripting languages, and deep understanding of APIs, developer workflows, and DevOps practices. You're comfortable scoping ambiguous problems, building technical collateral at scale, and engaging both individual developers and enterprise architects. You understand how enterprises actually build and ship software—GitHub, AWS, Azure, Postman, and the broader developer toolchain.
