As a Customer Success Engineer, you'll be the technical bridge between Hightouch and its users, ensuring they extract maximum value from the platform. You'll handle customer inquiries across multiple channels—Intercom, Slack, phone, and email—providing technical guidance on API documentation, SaaS integrations (CRMs, ESPs, ERPs), and data fundamentals.
The role offers broad cross-functional exposure, collaborating closely with Solutions Architects, Solutions Engineers, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams. You'll wear multiple hats in a startup environment, contributing to customer success strategy while identifying process improvements and scaling solutions.
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, guiding customers through platform capabilities, documenting solutions, and feeding customer insights back to product and engineering teams. You'll be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, willing to challenge the status quo, and deeply committed to keeping customer promises.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years in customer-facing roles with a technical background (education or experience), conversance in SQL or willingness to learn, strong discovery and interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity, and high ambition paired with humility. Fluency in French or German is required; high proficiency in English is essential. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a thorough understanding of the technology industry.
