Salary: USD 58,300 - 81,600 / annual

As a Customer Success Associate I, you will play a pivotal role in directly engaging with SMB customers to drive successful activation of Wisetack as their preferred financing solution. You will own a structured onboarding process, manage merchant relationships, and drive measurable activation outcomes. While not a traditional sales role, the position requires consultative communication skills and the ability to guide conversations toward early success with the platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Onboarding new customers through multiple channels (phone, video conferencing, email, text messaging)
- Educating customers about Wisetack's business benefits
- Executing ad-hoc activation campaigns as determined by business needs
- Communicating merchant needs, blockers, and feedback to cross-functional partners (product, marketing, partner teams)
- Collaborating with growth and product teams to ensure consistent experience and consolidate feedback
The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, motivated, and eager to experiment with strategies to refine the merchant activation playbook. You should be intellectually curious, diligent, proactive, and deeply committed to customer success, prioritizing integrity and long-term results. You will actively gather and relay product feedback from merchants to contribute to ongoing product improvements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role (customer success, onboarding, support, sales, or account management)
- Bachelor's degree
- Comfort with technology stack: Salesforce, Tableau, Salesloft, Slack, Google Suite, Claude, ChatGPT, Granola, Confluence
- Demonstrated ability to use customer data and feedback to prioritize work, identify patterns, and surface improvement opportunities
- Strong verbal and written communication via phone, text, video conferencing, and email
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and follow-through in high-volume environments
- Product orientation, evidenced by prior work in a technology startup
- Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity and workflow efficiency
BONUS: Fintech experience; experience with home services or SMB sector.
