Wander is revolutionizing the short-term rental industry with curated smart homes and an intuitive booking platform. The company is backed by top-tier investors and led by experienced startup veterans, operating as a remote-first team united by passion for travel and technology.
In this role, you serve as the operational hub for every new WanderOS account from contract signature to first booking. You own the onboarding pipeline end-to-end: timelines, owners, blockers, escalations, and the customer experience throughout. You are the first to see if a build is stuck, a property management system isn't syncing, or a Site Builder is overloaded, and you unblock it immediately.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the onboarding pipeline as the single source of truth for account stage, site stage, blockers, and go-live dates
- Drive every new account from closed-won to live pre-booking in 14 days or less
- Triage blockers daily: PMS integration issues, missing assets, unresponsive partners, product gaps; route to the right owner and follow up until resolved
- Assign builds to Site Builders based on capacity, skill, and customer context, ensuring each builder has complete context from Sales
- Run tight weekly cadences with Site Builders, CSMs, and Sales; publish status, flag risk, and hold the line on dates
- Own customer-facing communication during the build window with warm welcomes, status updates, and quick revision turnaround
- Identify patterns and escalate systemic blockers for process, automation, or product fixes
- Partner with Engineering and Ops to automate workflows, treating manual coordination as a temporary state
You are a relentless operator who makes lists and works them without letting things slip. You stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly across functions, and thrive in fast-paced startup environments. You have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
