Osmo is a digital olfaction company developing technology to give computers a sense of smell for applications across fragrance, manufacturing, security, medicine, and other industries. The company is headquartered in Elizabeth, NJ with an additional office in Somerville, MA.
This role owns the operational handoff where customer projects move from onboarding into production, fulfillment, and deployment. You'll be the primary operational point of contact for customers post-launch, responsible for keeping manufacturing, procurement, product development, quality, and delivery teams aligned and moving in the same direction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned customers, building trust through proactive updates
- Track material availability, fragrance readiness, packaging readiness, and production milestones, flagging constraints before they become delays
- Keep manufacturing priorities and deployment schedules in sync with customer commitments
- Own customer orders end-to-end from operational handoff through fulfillment, including schedule changes and modifications
- Coordinate across Manufacturing, Procurement, Product Development, Quality, and Turnkey Delivery teams
- Run execution reviews and escalation discussions when project milestones or customer expectations are at risk
- Identify operational risks early and build mitigation plans
- Support oil shipment planning and readiness activities
- Support new tools, reporting, and workflows that increase visibility and scalability
You'll work in a hybrid environment with offices in Elizabeth, NJ and Somerville, MA, with complimentary shuttle service from Brooklyn and Newark. The company offers catered lunch Mon/Wed/Fri.
Requirements:
- 6+ years in customer success, operations, manufacturing coordination, supply chain, or project management, ideally in fragrance and flavor industry
- Experience supporting customer-facing programs in manufacturing, consumer products, fragrance, or industrial environments
- Tenacious about tracking open threads across procurement, production, and customer communication until resolved
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills with good judgment on escalation
- Genuine curiosity about how products are made; ability to understand fragrance readiness and production sequencing
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple customer programs simultaneously
Desirable qualifications:
- Contract manufacturing experience
- Production planning, order fulfillment, or S&OP process familiarity
- Hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, and project management systems
- Product launch or customer deployment program experience
