The Credentialing & Enrollment Lead role is responsible for managing the credentialing and enrollment operations that enable Nourish to scale its network of healthcare providers across all 50 states. This leadership position oversees the processes, systems, and team members required to credential Registered Dietitians, physicians, and other practitioners, ensuring compliance with payer requirements and health system standards. The role involves coordinating with health plans, health systems, and internal teams to streamline enrollment workflows, reduce time-to-productivity for new providers, and maintain high-quality credentialing standards.
Key responsibilities include: leading and managing a team focused on credentialing and enrollment operations; developing and optimizing credentialing workflows and processes; managing relationships with health plans and health systems on credentialing matters; ensuring compliance with regulatory and payer requirements; tracking metrics and KPIs related to credentialing timelines and provider onboarding; identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve efficiency; and collaborating with product, engineering, and clinical teams to build systems that support scaling the provider network.
The ideal candidate brings experience in healthcare operations, credentialing, provider enrollment, or similar healthcare infrastructure roles. Strong project management, process optimization, and team leadership skills are essential. Understanding of payer requirements, health plan networks, and healthcare compliance is highly valuable. The role requires someone comfortable with ambiguity, able to build processes from scratch, and driven to solve unglamorous but critical operational challenges that directly impact the company's ability to scale.
