Coursera + Udemy (now one company) is seeking a Creative Operations Program Manager to architect and lead the systems and processes that power the organization's creative output. This role sits within the Marketing Strategy and Operations team and serves as the connective tissue between marketing, product, and creative stakeholders.
You will manage the complex interplay of creative demand from marketing and product teams, the execution capacity of internal creative teams, and the strategic support of external agency partners. Your primary goal is to establish a best-in-class operational model that ensures high-quality, distinctive creative work is delivered on budget and on time through effective cross-functional governance and resource optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
• Workflow Architecture: Design, implement, and audit end-to-end creative workflows from unified intake and brief grooming to final delivery, ensuring streamlined handoffs between marketing, product, and creative teams.
• Program/Project Leadership: Lead complex, cross-functional creative initiatives from intake through delivery, driving timelines, dependency management, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and launch readiness.
• Change Management: Drive adoption of new workflows, tools, and operating models through documentation, training, and stakeholder enablement.
• Resource & Agency Management: Lead quarterly and weekly resource planning, balancing internal team bandwidth with external agencies to ensure optimal workload distribution and cost efficiency. Proactively identify capacity constraints and recommend prioritization and staffing strategies.
• Stakeholder Governance: Orchestrate cross-functional interlocks and steering meetings to align marketing/product objectives with creative capabilities, communicating project tradeoffs and resource availability.
• MarTech Optimization: Serve as the functional lead for the creative technology stack (e.g., Asana, DAM systems), integrating operational efficiencies into ticketing and asset management processes.
• Performance Tracking: Establish KPI frameworks and dashboards to track creative throughput, quality, and business impact, providing regular strategic updates to senior management.
• Vendor Relations: Manage external agency contracts, renewals, and onboarding in partnership with Procurement and Legal, ensuring all partners adhere to brand and quality standards.
You will build trust across marketing, product, and creative teams, see workflows end-to-end, make the most of limited capacity, and translate operational metrics into clear, compelling updates for both creative teams and senior leadership.
