Parallel Bio is building human-first drug discovery powered by organoids and AI. The company has achieved 87% concordance with clinical patient data—vastly outperforming the 3% translational success rate of animal models—and is working with three Fortune 500 pharma companies. The role is Corporate Program Manager, stewarding the company's highest-priority initiatives from definition through delivery.
You will sit close to the executive team and translate between strategy and execution, bringing inputs from across the company into cohesive, measurable plans. Your work covers company and function roadmaps, OKRs, investor materials, and team communications. You hold a single source of truth, keeping terminology and timelines consistent across all artifacts, and you set the operating rhythm of the organization: sprint cadence, clear ownership, and measurable outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
**Program Leadership:** Steward the company's highest-priority initiatives with real-time visibility into status. Coordinate cross-functional work spanning Science, Platform, Technology, and the Executive Team. Work with Finance and Operations to ensure resourcing and timelines align with budget and constraints. Surface risks, remove obstacles, and resolve dependencies.
**Roadmaps and Planning Artifacts:** Steward company and function roadmaps from draft through execution. Maintain one canonical version of each artifact in a known location, keeping terminology, timelines, and numbers consistent. Work with functional owners to bring contributions on schedule. Ensure each artifact reads as a single argument tracing functional detail back to company priorities.
**Communications and Stakeholder Engagement:** Develop and calibrate content for executive communications, presentations, and strategic narratives for leadership, internal functions, and external audiences. Centralize decisions, documentation, and updates in Notion and project management tools. Streamline communication in Slack.
**Team Effectiveness and Governance:** Drive Leadership Team effectiveness through operating rhythms, decision frameworks, and accountability processes. Facilitate business reviews, planning sessions, and leadership meetings across time zones, structured to produce decisions. Align leaders around priorities, decisions, and execution. Improve speed and quality of decision-making.
**Operating Model:** Own and continuously improve how the company plans, governs, and communicates. Integrate priorities into quarterly, annual, and long-range planning. Drive OKR governance, measurement, and accountability. Protect top priorities from competing attention and resources.
**Systems Consolidation:** Own migration of projects, issues, and history onto a single designated project management system and drive company-wide adoption. Define system structure: project hierarchy, issue types, statuses, ownership fields, and how roadmaps map to underlying work. Retire legacy tools once migrations are complete.
**Requirements:**
- 5+ years supporting senior leadership or operations, including at least two startups or high-growth teams in biotech, deep tech, or science-driven environments
- Proven experience stewarding high-stakes programs and planning materials as the single accountable person for the process
- Experience running programs across time zones and maintaining momentum in distributed settings
- Strong narrative sense—ability to identify when documents lack coherence and fix them
- Prior experience consolidating teams onto a single project management system, with understanding that adoption is the hard part
- Deep working knowledge of modern issue tracking and project management systems, Notion for documentation and dashboards, and Slack for automation and integrations
- Comfort using automation and language models as a matter of course, expecting mechanical coordination to be handled that way rather than by hand
- Structured thinking: ability to break large goals into trackable milestones and bring clarity and order
- Execution mindset: planning is the starting point; the measure is whether deliverables land
- Clear written and verbal communication that creates alignment without micromanagement
- Start-up agility: comfortable with ambiguity, making fast pragmatic decisions, and keeping others moving
