MyHeritage, a leading global discovery platform for family history and AI-powered photo enhancement, is seeking a hands-on Controller to join its Finance team in Or Yehuda, Israel. You will report to the Director of Finance and play a key role in managing the financials of a global tech company.
In this role, you will own end-to-end financial management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under US GAAP; close process management; and reporting to the Director of Finance. You will manage statutory tax filings and ensure full compliance with Israeli tax authorities and regulatory requirements. You will also manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring all statutory filing deadlines are met.
You will coordinate with operations and logistics teams to align financial processes with the physical and operational side of the business. You will manage and mentor the Accounts Payable team, reviewing processes, approvals, and vendor payment cycles. Additionally, you will strengthen internal controls, close procedures, and financial processes as the company scales, including the implementation of AI tools and best practices.
The ideal candidate is someone who moves fast, isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, excels in direct communication, and has a "let's solve it now" mentality. You will own the numbers end-to-end and understand not just how to close the books, but why they look the way they do.

**Requirements:**
- Big 4 alumni with Big 4 audit/assurance background strongly preferred; you must know how to build and defend a clean set of books
- Prior experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller at a tech company; understanding of SaaS/tech revenue models and tech organization pace required
- Deep familiarity with Israeli tax and regulatory reporting requirements
- CPA certification
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
- Fluent in Hebrew and English
- "Get it done" attitude; ability to fix broken processes without waiting for permission
