Veeva Systems, a public benefit corporation and leader in industry cloud for life sciences, is seeking a Consultant to join the Professional Services team in Tokyo. The role focuses on implementing Veeva's Vault Development Cloud, particularly Safety Applications, to help life sciences organizations streamline clinical, regulatory, and quality processes.
You will lead customers through rapid configuration and implementation of Veeva's solutions to support data and content management in the Safety domain. Key responsibilities include managing implementation lifecycles—from workshop delivery and requirements gathering through configuration, validation, migration, integration, training, and go-live. You'll collaborate closely with customers, project managers, and cross-functional teams (Product, Strategy, Sales) to ensure successful adoption and alignment of processes with system design.
The ideal candidate brings experience in the life sciences space with knowledge of document and data collection/storage systems. Pharmacovigilance domain experience or hands-on experience with safety systems is essential. You should be comfortable acting with speed to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement Veeva Vault configurations. Fluency in both Japanese and English at business level is required, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally is expected.
Nice-to-have qualifications include exposure to implementation or administration roles for software solutions, direct experience with systems like Oracle Argus, ArisG, Siebel, Veeva Vault, NextDocs, Documentum, or SharePoint, a degree in life science or computer science, SaaS/cloud experience, and background in services delivery or systems implementation.
