Voyager Technologies is a defense, national security, and space technology company developing mission-critical solutions for government and commercial space programs. This Configuration/Data Manager II role supports the Defense & National Security (D&NS) division from the Folsom, CA office.
You will perform configuration and data management activities under the oversight of senior CM personnel, responsible for maintaining technical baseline integrity throughout the product lifecycle. Key responsibilities include managing hardware, software, and documentation baselines; overseeing configuration control activities including engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data packages; administering Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and change workflows; creating and facilitating Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings; maintaining CM databases and repositories; generating configuration status accounting reports and metrics; supporting Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA); and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, program management, and customer stakeholders.
You will track and coordinate SDRL/CDRL submissions, manage document numbering and revision tracking, and provide guidance to program teams on CM processes, tools, and standards. The role requires managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
Required: 2–4 years of Configuration/Data Management experience in DoD, aerospace, or missile defense programs; knowledge of CM principles and standards (AS9100, EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61); experience with PDM/PLM tools (Windchill, Enovia, Teamcenter, SolidWorks PDM); familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, NX, Pro/E); proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat; strong oral and written communication; U.S. citizenship; and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Preferred: CMPIC or equivalent certification; Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field (or 5+ years CM experience in lieu of degree).
