Archer Technologies is an aerospace company building all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for sustainable air mobility. As a Configuration and Data Management Specialist, you will drive the execution of configuration management (CM) processes across the organization, ensuring accuracy and control of document releases, changes, and technical data. Key responsibilities include performing document control and ensuring all CM processes are followed for proper handling, storage, and release of technical data. You will review Change Notices for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with CM standards before Change Review Board presentation, and attend CRB meetings to document decisions and approvals. You'll execute the release and change process for configuration items, verify effectivity assignments in the PLM system, and maintain configuration data integrity across systems. You will conduct audits to verify that released documents comply with the Configuration Management Plan, coordinate across engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing to determine cut-in points and retrofit requirements, and partner with the Design Data Integrity Engineer to ensure released data meets CM requirements. Additional duties include assisting with internal and supplier configuration audits, generating status reports on configuration items and changes, and providing ongoing support for configuration planning and status accounting. Required qualifications include the ability to interpret and verify process diagrams, engineering drawings, technical documents, and ICDs. You need excellent attention to detail, hands-on experience with document control processes and technical data management, familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management systems, and strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and vendors. Bonus qualifications include experience with JIRA, Teamcenter PLM, agile development environments, and configuration management in aerospace or regulated industries.
